Great price for a beautiful hotel with a homey vibe
Lovely place with such a welcoming vibe. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and help you finding activities or restaurants in the area that fit your wishes (or dietary restrictions). Me and my partner have been travelling through Germany, specifically the Black Forest area, and this is by far the best hotel we've been to.

Kleines Juwel im Schwarzwald, sehr gemütlich, sehr flexibel, unheimlich warmes, herzliches und zuvorkommendes Inhaberpaar. Kann ich klar empfehlen.

Um mir etwas aus den Fingern zu saugen, weil nur positiv immer komisch aussieht: rabattiertes Frühstücksbuffet um 7 Uhr für Frühaufsteher hatte keine warmen Eier - aber ich habe auch nicht danach gefragt.

Das Hotel Engel ist sehr gut erreichbar und liegt mitten im Schwarzwald. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Betreiber sind sehr nett und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Das Zimmer entsprach voll meinen Erwartungen. Das Bett ist schön groß und sehr bequem. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und total lecker. Der Aufenthalt war sehr entspannend und ich kann den Engel sehr empfehlen. Er ist immer wieder eine Reise wert.
